A Mark of Integrity
As a Member Society of CFA Institute it is Our Mission to promote the CFA Institute's Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct in Sweden. Since we require all our members to sign a yearly Members Agreement & Professional Conduct Statement membership in CFA Sweden is a mark of integrity in itself.
Continued Learning
CFA Sweden offers seminars on topics relevant to investment professionals, with focus on financial theory & "tools of the trade" rather than company presentations.
Regular and Affiliate Member also have access to CFA Institutes Conferences Worldwide and Publications such as Financial Analysts Journal and CFA Magazine.
Networking
Through CFA Sweden’s seminars, courses and (not least) social events such as the Pubs or Charter Award Ceremony you will meet other experienced professionals from all walks of the investment industry. This forum is collegial rather than competitive in its nature, related to but parallel to your professional agenda — a perfect environment for networking.
Candidate Support
One of CFA Sweden's top priorities is to provide support on the ground in Sweden for our CFA Program Candidates. Our efforts in this area feature providing Society Scholarships, lending curriculum books through the CFA Sweden Library, holding Trial Exams ahead of the actual exam date, facilitating formation of Study Groups and providing Review Courses.
Opportunity for Involvement
The CFA Society of Sweden is a not-for-profit organization where all work is done on volunteer basis through our different committees. As a member of CFA Sweden you have the opportunity to distinguish yourself by serving on of the committees. This work hooks you up to CFA Institute’s international network, puts you in contact with renowned speakers, teachers and practitioners worldwide and gives you a platform to make a difference!
Sponsor Requirements
One Regular CFA Institute member and the applicant’s supervisor, one of which must be a member of the Society. If the supervisor requirement cannot be met because the applicant is the principal of the firm, a student, retired, self-employed, or if providing a supervisor sponsor places the applicant in a difficult professional position, then an additional sponsorship by a Regular Member of CFA Institute is required.
