All work within CFA Society of Sweden is performed by members on a voluntary basis. Day to day duties are carried out through 6 different committees, with the degree of autonomy for each committee and its staff being high. Committee chairs suggest projects, activities and budgets to the Board. The Board approves committee budgets, where overall budget constraints and composition of member offerings are considered.
The high rate of growth increases Society workload, but also also the variety of tasks performed, as we develop our service offering. The board is constantly evaluating the organizational structure and we expect the number of committees and the need for personnel on each committee to increase. We encourage all members to consider serving on one of our committees. The level of commitment in terms of time is very flexible – we are grateful for any help we can get!

IT
The IT Committee’s main responsibility is running our website www.cfasweden.se, and our mailserver. Being a non-profit organization relying solely on volunteer work, we emphasize use of e-mail communication and providing information through the website. This is both cost and and time-efficient way for us to serve our members and other parties. Needless to say, the uptime of our servers and accuracy of data is of the essence.
